"Shooting Dad"
I just want to say first that I kept wondering in what way the title was appropriate as I was reading the essay, only to be pleasantly surprised in the final few paragraphs. Brilliant.

ReplyDeleteAs a parent this essay was not a pleasant read for me. The father making his daughters shoot a gun at the age of six was quite disturbing for me. I am 53 and has never shot a gun before. Her father's obsession with the whole firearms "thing" was very unsettling not to mention upsetting.
